Two Frederick, MD Players Commit
Two Frederick, MD players commit to CAA - and a future CAA - school.
Urbana football players Imani Chatman and Erik Saylor have both verbally committed to continue their careers at NCAA Division I Championship Subdivision programs, according to Hawks coach Joe Polce.
Chatman – a linebacker/defensive end – committed for a full scholarship to James Madison. The Dukes, who play in the Colonial Athletic Association, made the playoffs for the second straight year last season.

Saylor – a defensive tackle – committed to Old Dominion, which will revive its football program and play in the Colonial Athletic Association. Old Dominion last had a football team in 1940, according to the school’s web site.
Chatman and Saylor both earned Frederick News-Post All-Area honors last season. They helped the Hawks reach the Class 3A playoffs.
