Martin picks Holy Cross
Plano Senior senior middle linebacker C.J. Martin made his verbal commitment to Holy Cross after spending the weekend at the Jesuit college in Worcester, MA.
Martin had various options but found the Crusaders to be his best. With a family background on the East coast, Martin should feel comfortable.
Perryman picks Fordham
Plano Senior senior lineman Wes Perryman committed to Fordham University over the weekend. The senior was integral on the Wildcats offensive line, but expects to focus more on the defensive side of the ball for the Rams.
Perryman found the New York campus which is in the Bronx and on Manhattan Island enticing, and said the school’s motto, “New York is my campus. Fordham is my school,” made it all the more interesting.
“I like that because you get to take advantage of the variety of people in New York,” Perryman said.
Watkins heads North
Plano Senior senior cornerback Kenny Watkins is heading to the University of North Dakota.
