When the Iowa State football team enters Jack Trice Stadium the night of Thursday, Aug. 28, supporters will have an opportunity to see the new uniforms on television, via FCS Central, a digital cable network seen in more than nine million homes nationwide.
In addition, Fox College Sports is allowing Iowa State to Webcast the game live on cyclones.com.

“We are excited that Cyclone fans across the country will get to see the unveiling of our new uniforms by either watching the game on FCS Central or our Web site,” Iowa State athletic director Jamie Pollard said in a university news release. “We’ve worked cooperatively with FCS Central in order to get live television coverage for this special occasion.”
FCS Central is a partner of the Big 12 Conference and will air a number of games involving league teams this season.
Fans can link to FCS – http://msn.foxsports.com/fcs – and type in their ZIP code in the yellow box in column one to check their local coverage information. FCS Central is
also carried on Direct TV (channel 617).
FOX also granted permission for live web cast the game as part of the Clone Zone, Iowa State’s premium content package at cyclones.com.
“FCS Central will allow us to Webcast its audio and video production of the game to our ever-increasing Web audience,” Pollard said. “Certainly, live programming of Iowa State football via the Web is highly coveted, it has been very popular in previous trials.”
