Dartmouth Green-White Spring Game Set
The annual Dartmouth Green-White spring football scrimmage will take place on Saturday, May 2, on Memorial Field at 10 a.m. The scrimmage culminates the three-week spring practice season. There is no admission for the event.
The Big Green squad will not be split up into two separate teams, but rather the offense will don the green jerseys while the defense will be wearing white. The game will be officiated as would a regular game, but the game itself will not be simply four 15-minute quarters.
The tentative schedule for the game is to start with four punts before a kickoff.
The two sides will then play two 15-minute quarters before taking a break at the half. After the second-half kickoff, the game will be broken up into two 12-minute quarters with a running clock. There will not be special teams play such as field goal blocking. The coaches will adjust this schedule based on what happens on the field.
