NDSU to Play Kansas Jayhawks in 2010
North Dakota State University football will play the Kansas at Memorial Field in Lawrence on Sept. 4, 2010, as the Jayhawks announced their non-conference schedule for 2010 today. KU will meet North Dakota State for the first time on the football field.

The Bison played one game against a Football Bowl Series opponent last year, narrowly losing at Wyoming 16-13. NDSU is 3-2 against FBS teams since 2007 with wins at Minnesota, Central Michigan and Ball State.
North Dakota State is 0-2-1 against current members of the Big 12 (L 6-19 at Kansas State, 1931; T 20-20 at Texas Tech, 1934; L 0-42 at Missouri, 1956). The Bison open the 2009 season at Iowa State on Sept. 3. The NDSU-KU men’s basketball teams met in the first round of the NCAA Division I tournament last March.
The Jayhawks will open the 2010 season hosting North Dakota State on Sept. 4. KU will face Georgia Tech on Kivisto Field at Memorial Stadium on Sept. 11 before traveling to Hattiesburg, Miss. to play Southern Mississippi on Sept. 18. The Jayhawks will close out the non-conference season hosting New Mexico State on Sept. 25 before opening league play at Baylor on Oct. 2.
NDSU was 6-5 as a member of the Missouri Valley Conference in 2008.
