Wofford Announces 2010 Schedule
Wofford College has announced the 2010 football schedule, which includes home games against SoCon foes Furman and The Citadel, along with a road game against FBS opponent Ohio University.

The Terriers will open the season on the road at Ohio University on September 4. The Bobcats lost 21-17 to Marshall in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl and also played in the MAC Championship game. They finished with a 9-5 overall record. A road trip to Charleston Southern on September 11 follows for the Terriers.
Wofford opens the home slate on September 18 when Union (Ky.) visits Gibbs Stadium. The Bulldogs were 4-6 last season and compete in the Appalachian Athletic Conference in NAIA.
After an open date, the Terriers will host Furman on October 2 to open the Southern Conference slate. Wofford will visit Georgia Southern on October 9 before hosting Western Carolina on October 16. A trip to NCAA Playoff participant Elon will take place on October 23. For Homecoming, Wofford will host The Citadel on October 30.
Back-to-back conference games at Samford (11/6) and at 2010 SoCon Champion Appalachian State (11/13) round out the road schedule. The final home game is on November 20 as Chattanooga will visit Gibbs Stadium.
All dates and times are subject to change. A Southern Conference television schedule will be announced in early summer.
