SC State Season Opener at Ga. Tech to Start at 1 p.m.
ORANGEBURG, SC – South Carolina State’s 2010 season opener at Georgia Tech Sept. 4 will kickoff at 1 p.m., the Yellow Jackets and the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Friday. The game will be available over the internet at ESPN3.com.
SC State and Bulldog fans had been waiting for the starting time of the contest at Bobby Dowd Stadium to be set. The announced time for the game completes the 2010 schedule for Coach Buddy Pough’s team, however, sites, dates and times could still change, dependent upon whether any of this year’s contests are chosen for television.
The Bulldogs finished 10-2 overall last year and completed their second straight undefeated Mid-Eastern Athletic slate at 8-0, while making back-to-back appearances in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).
