Valley Ranks #2 in GPI; 5 teams in Top 15
Last year, every team in the Top 20 of the GPI with seven Division I victories earned a playoff spot. Indiana State, currently No. 13, and Youngstown State, currently No. 15, could pick up their seventh Division I wins this weekend. North Dakota State (1), UNI (3), and Illinois State (12) also represent the MVFC in the Top 15 of the GPI.

North Dakota State stays in the top spot of the Gridiron Power Index (GPI) even after a close loss to fellow top 25 and league mate Youngstown State. The MVFC ranks No. 2 as a league, and five teams from Valley Football rank in the Top 15.
